Facing Friends’ Books

Some time ago, Maurice Broaddus blogged about authors “facing” their friends’ books (you know, going into a book store and surreptitiously moving your friends’ books around so that the front cover is showing, thus giving them a wee bit more real estate).

Obviously, the impact of this maneuver on sales is negligible ( more likely, non-existent).  But, what the Hell.  My hubbie and I are way too old to toilet-paper houses on Halloween or make crank calls…so slightly altering a book store’s shelving arrangements is about as mischievous  as it gets in the Cushing household.

I am so less exciting than my fiction.

Anyway, here’s two photos documenting my wacky hijinks on behalf of Maurice Broaddus’ King Maker and Lucy Snyder’s Shotgun Sorceress.

Maurice Broaddus' KING MAKER (First Book in the series, The Knights of Breton Court)

Lucy's Snyder's SHOTGUN SORCERESS (Book #2 of the Jessie Shimmer series)
