I went for a walk in my favorite woods over the weekend and happened upon a tree carved with something that looks (to me) to be that Masonic-symbol-thingy (with the pyramid and the eye, etc.) Maybe it’s a sign that the Blair Witch was on my trail (thankfully, I found no bloody fingers along the path). Or, maybe it’s a sign that Masons buried a treasure (or Jimmy Hoffa, or Nicholas Cage) under the tree. Or, perhaps most likely of all, some bored kids got stoned in the forest and thought the design looked nifty.
