I can vaguely remember elementary school projects back in the 80s requiring me to make a diorama (usually using a shoe-box to create a sort of crude shadow box). Actually, now that I think about it, I think I had to do them for book reports.
Reader Vince Kramer is (judging by his facial hair, height, and alcohol consumption at BizarroCon) long out of elementary school. But he remains passionate about book report dioramas. He’s put together a whole series of them dramatizing or otherwise representing several new bizarro titles, including How To Eat Fried Furries.
For the record, I love this kind of stuff. So if you want to express your appreciation for the book via dioramas, drawings, clay sculpture, watercolor painting, interpretive dance, etc., I’d love to see the fruits of your labor. Just email a photo of the relevant media to nicolecushingwriter (at) gmail (dot) com, and there is a fairly good chance I’ll post it here to my website.
