Clock Ticks On FRIED FURRIES Give-A-Way At I READ ODD BOOKS

You have until 7:00 p.m. Pacific time to enter a drawing to win one of two FREE copies of my new book, How To Eat Fried Furries at the book review site I READ ODD BOOKS.

To enter the drawing, either post something in the comments section of today’s post (which, not coincidentally, happens to be a review of Fried Furries) OR retweet any of reviewer Anita Dalton’s tweets bearing the hashtag  “bizarroweek”.

“What’s the occasion?”, you might ask.

This is Bizarro Week at I READ ODD BOOKS.  Five Bizarro book reviews, and two drawings for free books (the second book being given away, on Thursday, is David W. Barbee’s Carnageland.)

Best of luck to all the contestants!

Review Site I READ ODD BOOKS Giving Away FREE Copies of FRIED FURRIES…

I don’t mean to harsh your collective mellow, dear readers, but as I write this it’s Sunday night.  Tomorrow morning, you’ll be face-to-face with the boss again.  This should be a quiet time, for introspection and sobering up.  Perhaps, if you’ve had a particularly rough weekend, you may need a debriefing on what you said and did.

Or, if you’re a gentler soul (such as myself) you may merely be scolding yourself for not getting as much ironing done over the weekend as you wish you had.

In any event, facing another Monday is not fun.

You need something to look forward to, and I have just the ticket.

Tomorrow, book review site I Read Odd Books will be putting my tome, How To Eat Fried Furries under the microscope.  Will it pass muster?  Only time (and a visit to www.ireadoddbooks.com) will tell!  But regardless of what they think, I do know this:  they are giving away free copies of the book.

Here’s how it works.  Tomorrow, I Read Odd Books will post the review of my book.  You can be entered in the giveaway in two different ways…

1.  Leave a comment in the blog post reviewing How To Eat Fried Furries

2. Retweet the announcements for the reviewer, Anita Dalton.  You can find her Twitter page at http://twitter.com/oddeverything

So there you go.  Something to brighten up your Sunday night.  Goodness knows we need it, ever since Married…With Children went off the air…
